For the often used names I defined first-letter keybindings:
[g]fx (for gimp and some others)
[m]ail
[w]ww
and so on. Since I use Mod4 I don't have problems with other apps
and all letters usable (besides [a]ctions, [p]rograms and [t]ag).
On those Win-keyboards one may even make use of the Menu-key.
