Whoops, it seems my question was previously answered (see message
below). But just to be safe... can anybody confirm that the use of
client IDs has made it into wmii-4?

I've mentioned it, and it was Kris who told me that a unique id was
already being generated because it was needed for the plan 9 filesystem
protocol for some reason; I think he plans to make the change at
some point.
