[wmii] Keybindings not working on wmii (3.6~rc2+20070518-1)

I start wmii from my .xsession file.
It starts fine, only that the keybindings are not working.
This means that M-Enter Enter does not exec an xterm.
Even more. If I start an xterm( export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0 && xterm
from a linux console)
the d , s , a Return key are not showing in the newly opened xterm.
