Hi,

You just have to edit the

WMII_NORMCOLORS
WMII_FOCUSCOLORS

Values in your wmiirc, both are triples with RGB colors
for tet, background and border, for focused or unfocused clients.
Mine are

WMII_NORMCOLORS='#444444 #000000 #000000'
WMII_FOCUSCOLORS='#FFFFFF #000000 #000000'

for example.
