[wmii] buggy floating window behavior?

Hi:

I've found that if I run the command

xterm -e ""

from a floating xterm window, a new window is created that doesn't
have a client attached to it. I can move and resize the window, but I
can't kill it with the default delete menu option. "wmiir read
/tag/sel/index" doesn't show any entries associated with that window.
Does anyone else get this behavior?

I'm using the May 16th snapshot
(http://www.suckless.org/snaps/wmii+ixp-20070516.tgz).
