This also happens to me with other programs like Inkscape's dialogs
regularly. I also noticed this problem:
Open any resizable dialog like Help->About in Firefox:

Grab the window where the + is and resize it like this:

(+ still the position of the mouse), and you notice that the dialog is
reduced to the titlebar and you cannot resize it again, that it gets
bigger.
