Offtopic again:
I agree with Wyrmskull's more pessimistic view on people's ablity to
do a direct democracy and not fullfilling just their own needs.
We're all (imo) too egoistic, you can maybe see that in the consumers
behavior, while there are several economic grievances, the commercial
sense points to 0. Everyone is still going into the biggest supermarkets
and is buying mostly the cheapest crap. We would be able to choose in
this case, but you can make a dozen more documentations and there still
wouldn't be any change.

however,inn "way to live" i'm a bit more optimistic. Sure the medias are
dominating some kind of public view on this but everyone has his own way
and "highlights". If you once finished a ironman or want a kid(great
relation :x), there are many great things to do :D.
Not everyone can find a cure to cancer or wants to travel the whole
world. But i agree, the life can pass away and the medias are great
to waste time and getting nothing out of it.
