OK, time for me to SHUT THE FUCK UP.

It was my fault. All works fine with nano and the patched st with
scrollback.

This morning I re-built dwm with my own terminal pointed too in
config.h, but forgot to restart it - so from the original boot-up I was
running st - then after I installed dwm every new terminal spawn... so
now everything has it's [k]nickers in a twist.

Sorry for the terrible noise.
