You are too pessimistic. If you'd invest the time you complain
about the situation into being productive and updating existing
links which haven't been updated yet or to inform the reponsible
persons about the updates, there won't be any links by end of
_this_ week pointing to obsolete domains.

But it is easier to cry and to complain about things, instead
getting active and to contribute to the updates which are
necessary.

And if something is broken (I expect the Gmane accounts need
polishing), it will be fixed quite fast.
